Our Process
Each Shiv Diamond passes through an exacting journey.
We begin with a diamond seed—a thin slice of existing diamond—that serves as the crystalline foundation upon which every new stone grows.
Using Chemical Vapour Deposition or High Pressure High Temperature processes, carbon atoms bond to the seed, building the diamond layer by molecular layer over several weeks.
Our master cutters study each rough stone to unlock its maximum brilliance. Using laser technology and centuries of tradition, each facet is placed with absolute precision.
The polishing stage transforms a cut stone into a luminous gem. Each diamond is hand-finished to a mirror polish that maximises light return and fire.
Every stone is graded against the 4Cs—Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat—by our in-house gem experts before submission for independent certification.
Each Shiv Diamond is submitted to independent international laboratories for certification, ensuring every client receives a stone with fully verified, documented characteristics.
